MyCAA Tuition Resources
Effective Tuesday 16 February 2010 the MyCAA program is temporarily pausing program operations. Please read through this letter as this pause affects schools and spouses differently. The following is the Office of the Secretary of Defense's Official Announcement:
"Effective immediately the MyCAA program is temporarily halting operations. We are reviewing all the procedures, financial assistance documents and the overall program. This pause will not affect approved Financial Assistance documents. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. Please check back for updates."
What does this mean for schools?
While spouses will not be allowed to request Financial Assistance for MyCAA funding or create a MyCAA account, school functionality in the AI Portal remains unchanged. The AI Portal is operating normally and is not affected by the temporary halt in operations by MyCAA. Schools can continue to invoice for any existing Financial Assistance documents. Invoices will continue to be paid in the order in which they are received. Payment will be made within approximately 20 business days (30 calendar days).
Schools must continue to upload grades to the AI Portal. Additionally, in order to facilitate a consistent message to the spouses attached is a list of frequency asked questions concerning the pause.
What does this mean for spouses?
